Configuring Outlook to Send and Receive your PVEA.org email

! Once Hayden or Doug has created your POP3 account on PVEA.org, you can use Outlook to send AND to receive messages from your PVEA.org mailbox. Please obtain your account information first, then you can follow the steps below.

Follow these steps...

From within Outlook 2002, choose:

1. The Tools menu, and click Accounts.
    
2. Click E-Mail and then click ADD a new e-mail account. (see below)
   click NEXT
   
    
3. Select POP3 for the server type. (see blow)
   click NEXT
   
    
4. Enter your information and enter the server information. (see below)
   Note: CLICK MORE SETTINGS... to enter the SMTP server account info
   
    
5. Click the OUTGOING SERVER tab, and set as follows. (see below)
   Note: Obviously, we would not post this info here, see Doug or Hayden. This info is needed to SEND email through the PVEA.org server. Please keep this information private. Thanks!
   
    
6. Click OK to complete the "Internet E-mail Settings" dialog box.
    
7. You will now be BACK in the "Email Accounts" dialog box.
   Click TEST ACCOUNT SETTINGS....
   
    
8. Testing the account will prove that the information has been set up correctly. You will see this if you are successful. GREAT. (If you do not see this, then try again, or see Doug or Hayden)
   Click CLOSE
   
    
9. Click NEXT, and begin to use your NEW PVEA.org email account.
